When any team member marks a task “Complete”, it is marked complete for all team members. They will all see the task in their Assigned to you list when they open Tasks. Above the tasks list, on the left, choose Progress, Priority, or Due date and choose an option. Press and hold the SHIFT key to select multiple consecutive tasks, or press and hold the CTRL key to select multiple nonconsecutive tasks. Press Enter to create a task without a due date. Select a task by clicking or tapping somewhere on the task that is not the Complete circle or the name of the task. A new plan starts with a To do bucket heading, but established plans might have named buckets instead. For example, you may want to sort by Priority to assign the highest priority tasks first, or by Assigned to to view the workload of each staff member. Select + Add task below the heading of the bucket to which you want to add a task. If youve been using Microsoft Planner, then you will know theres more to the application than meets the eye. You can sort the list by any of those headings to focus on different aspects of your team’s work. Add Tasks and Change Dates in the Schedule View. Under Task title you’ll see a list of all the tasks for your team, both published tasks and shared plans. Published tasks are marked with a hierarchy icon. Instead, each plan is listed under Shared plans-just select a plan to see its tasks, assign them, and so on. Note: Tasks that are part of shared plans, not published lists, aren't listed in the general Tasks list.
